Ocean Loop

At mymizu, we believe that each purchase you make can have a positive impact on the world. When you make a purchase at our mymizu store, you will be joining our Ocean Loop initiative in which we:

Reduce

Through providing sustainable alternatives, we reduce our impact on the environment. We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality products that align with their values and is able to attain this in an environmentally friendly way.

Recover

For every item sold on our online store, mymizu will collect 1kg of rubbish from rivers, beaches and oceans. This means that your purchase will directly contribute to recovering waste from our environment!

Co-create

We believe co-creation is the key ingredient to making real change. At the mymizu store, you are not just a ‘customer’. You are now a member of the mymizu community! Together, we hope to build a world with healthy oceans, thriving ecosystems and happy people.

Through our Ocean Loop initiative, we will stop the flow of pollution into the oceans at the source while simultaneously removing waste – co-creating a better world, hand in hand.

How?

As a team (mymizu and our parent nonprofit organisation Social Innovation Japan), we’ve organised clean-ups in parks, beaches and streets with hundreds of volunteers and companies wanting to make an environmental impact.

Sales of products help to fund our nonprofit activities, including these clean-ups, and every time we go out there, we measure how much trash is collected before disposing of it in a responsible manner. This year, we will start uploading photos and reports here on our website. That way, everyone can know exactly how much litter we’ve collected - full transparency, full impact :)

In future, we will upload photos and reports here on our website. That way, everyone can know exactly how much litter we’ve collected - full transparency, full impact!

Clean-up Events

On hold due to the current global health pandemic (please #stayhome!), but please join us in the near future!
